The GE DS200TBQAG1ABB is a Thermocouple Termination Module designed exclusively for GE’s Mark V Turbine Control System—a legacy series tailored for controlling wind, steam, and gas turbine automated drives, and one of the final GE Mark product lines to integrate the brand’s patented Speedtronic control technology. A revised variant of the original DS200TBQAG1 parent module, it incorporates three key product revisions---enhancing signal reliability, component longevity, and system compatibility, and serves as a critical hub for thermocouple signal management in turbine control setups.
At its core, the board features two 90-pin terminal blocks—supporting a maximum of 180 signal lines for extensive thermocouple and cold junction signal routing—and three 20-pin connectors dedicated to interfacing with Mark V’s TCQA and TCCA Boards:
JAR Connector: Transmits thermocouple signals(1–15 channels) and cold junction signals to/from TCQA/TCCA Boards, enabling temperature monitoring of critical turbine components.
JAS Connector: Handles thermocouple signals (16–30 channels) and cold junction signals, extending temperature sensing coverage for larger turbine systems.
JAT Connector: Manages thermocouple signals (31–45 channels) and cold junction signals, ensuring comprehensive thermal oversight to prevent overheating-related failures.
